LIGHT
- Requirement: Needs plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. A spot in an east- or west-facing window is ideal.
- Avoid: Harsh, direct midday sun, which can scorch and burn the fleshy leave
WATER
- Requirement: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Because it stores water in its thick stem (caudex), it is highly drought-tolerant.
- Drainage: Always use a pot with drainage holes and a well-aerated potting mix (e.g., standard potting soil mixed with perlite or a succulent/cactus mix) to avoid root rot.

- Ideal Range: Keep temperatures between 18-27C (65-80F)
- Warning: Avoid cold drafts and do not expose the plant to freezing temperatures.
- Placement: Do not move the plant frequently; it is sensitive to location changes and may drop leaves if its environment is altered too often.
